To demonstrate the positive impact of ICT on development and to respond to immediate needs for the deployment of ICT at the local and regional level, Commonwealth Connects has sponsored individual projects on a selective and strategic basis.
The selection criteria attach a high value to projects which are replicable across member states and involve the transfer of knowledge and expertise.
In the context of its overall strategy, the Programme has selected a small number of further projects that show how partnerships can be used to realize the wide-ranging and innovative potential of ICT for development.
